Applicants are asked if they have ever committed, been investigated for, been prosecuted for, had a finding against them, or been convicted of an offence for, engaging in sexual exploitation and/or abuse and provide details. Applicants who have been convicted or have had an adverse finding against them are screened out. Applicants who have a case pending or in other status and are not current staff members of the UN system organizations will be screened out. Applicants who have been pardoned or acquitted are released to the hiring manager for further consideration. Further details may be made available during the reference verification process.
