The staffing table managers should review all aspects of the request before approving and submitting the job opening for advertisement Tip 2.12:

  • ensure funding availability of the position;
  • ascertain post classification status and upload the approved classification document in the
    Activity & Attachments section;
  • fill out the remainder of Job Details, Evaluation Criteria and Job Postings, and review and confirm the information provided by hiring managers;
  • in the Hiring Team tab, assign the primary hiring manager and add the relevant senior recruiter as an Interested Party; and obtain and provide the names of any persons who hold or have held a temporary appointment within the last six months and who have been on the post in the Comments Text box of the Approvals sub-tab under the Details tab.
