- Hiring managers and heads of entity may independently seek feedback from the candidates’ supervisors, references, employers and education institutions and inform the head of entity or the Secretary-General. Consent is secured at the time of application, with the possible exception for current employment and supervisor. To check whether the current employer or supervisor may be contacted before a candidate is selected, hiring managers should check the work experience section in the PHP for the candidate’s indication.
