Telephone Timesheets can integrate with QuickBooks Desktop software or QuickBooks Online service. Integration between Telephone Timesheets and QuickBooks is limited to a single QuickBooks company. If you have more than one QuickBooks company, you will need to create a separate Telephone Timesheets account for each company.

Feature: Employee Payroll

TTS integrates with QBO by sending each completed Time Entry as a “QBO Time Activity” entry. There is a one to one relationship between each TTS Time Entry and a QBO Time Activity entry. Once a TTS time entry is sent to QBO, it is marked exported (locked) on the TTS side which then locks the record from changes. After exporting a date range of Time Entries from TTS, any changes that might need to be made to hours should be done manually in QBO if payroll has not been processed. You ran report on employee hours both in TTS or QBO since they effectively contain the same hours data.

Feature: Customer Billing

To allow seamless billing of clients based on time entries, associate each of your jobs with a QBO Customer and also set a “Base Client Bill Rate” on the TTS Job. Create different jobs with various bill rates all associated to the same QBO customer to bill at different rates for different activities. Also set the “Service Item” desired for your invoice line items the customer will see.

Feature: Vendor Time Tracking

If you use vendors with TTS to log time and need to bill clients, you can generate billable Time Activity in QBO to add directly your invoices. By setting a Vendor on a job, if an employee in TTS works a job with a QBO Vendor set and they are not a direct employee (not synced with QBO), then their time will still upload to QBO associated with the Vendor which can be imported into Customer Invoices the same as direct employees time.
In order to setup integration between Telephone Timesheets and QuickBooks, you must first choose the version of QuickBooks you would like to integrate with.
