Telephone Timesheets supports two types of contact records.

  1. People
  2. Organizations

These contacts can be associated with jobs. For example, an organization contact can be used if you want to associate Jobs and Time Entries to external organizations like vendors or clients. This is useful for things like reporting based on a particular vendor, or using click-to-call to initiate a call to a contact who is associated with a particular job.

To create a new contact record, go to the Admin —> Contacts menu. Here you will be able to create a either an individual contact (People) or a company record (Organizations).

Once you have added your vendors and clients, they can then be associated with jobs by using the job edit form.
