The system will notify supervisors (by text, email, and phone call) for the following scenarios:

1. Notify when an employee clocks in
2. Notify if an employee fails to clock in
3. Notify if an employee fails to clock out
4. Notify if an employee clocks out too soon
5. Notify if an employee misses a mid-shift checkpoint
6. If an employee fails to share their GPS location

The system will also notify employees via phonecall if:

1. Employee doesn’t clock in
2. Employee doesn’t clock out
3. Employee doesn’t submit a checkpoint

Notifications are configured and managed in Notification Profiles. To create a Notification Profile, select the green edit icon for the desired Job, then scroll down to “Notification Profile” and click “Create”

Select the desired notification settings- you can create multiple profiles, so selecting the appropriate Notification Profile for the job is easy.

After you’ve saved one or more Notification Profiles, you can quickly select them when you create new Jobs from the “Select a profile” drop-down menu under “Notification Profiles”.

Common examples of Notification Profiles:

  • Job specific notification preferences:
    Different jobs may have different notification requirements. Simply create a notification profile for each job with the desired settings. In the future, when creating new jobs that have the same notification requirements, you can select an existing notification profile to save time.
  • Multiple supervisors with different notification preferences:
    Supervisor A wants to be notified when his employees are late, but not when they check out early. Supervisor B wants to be notified when his employees are late, and when they check out early. Simply create a notification profile for each supervisor with the desired notification settings- this profile can be selected for applicable jobs.
