This feature was designed to improve compliance with break duration rules. If it is enabled, your employees will get a reminder text once they have been on break for a certain amount of time. The amount of time (in hours and minutes) can be configured by Telephone Timesheets support staff.

Here’s how it works:
If Break End Reminders are enabled with a time of 30 minutes, then, as soon as the employee has been on break for 30 minutes, the system will send a text message to the employee reminding them of when they started their break. Over time, employees get used to waiting for the text and this greatly reduces occurences of early return from break (which are considered labor violations in some states).
