Sygic GPS Navigation can receive information about traffic jams, roadworks, and road closures to calculate and offer alternative route options. The application receives traffic information from a live online database, thanks to which it always offers up-to-date information about the expected delay.
Information about traffic incidents is displayed on the map by red highlighting specific road sections. The direction of travel affected by these restrictions is indicated by small arrows inside the colored strip.
While navigating, information about the traffic situation is displayed on the left side of the application screen. In case there is a better route that bypasses the problematic section, the application will offer the option to change the current route and information about the change (length, time). The suggested route must be approved by the user at the bottom of the screen.
