Sygic calculates your route when you tap on the “Get Directions” button after selecting a destination (see Destination Selection).

Before starting navigation, there are several options available to customize and view information about the route.

The route selection screen contains several options and information:

1. On the map, you can see one to three route suggestions that have been found with brief information in the bottom bar. The green “A” mark indicates the beginning of the route and the red “XY” mark indicates the destination.

2. The route recommended by the app is marked in blue. If multiple routing options are offered, you can select another of the narrated routes by swiping the bottom bar to the left or tapping on the route shown on the map.

3. In the upper left corner, you can deselect the route and return to viewing the map by tapping the arrow icon.

4. You can view or change your starting and destination points.

5. Swap the order of the start and finish points.

6. You can add stops/waypoints to your route (see Waypoints)

7. The bottom bar displays a little more information about the currently selected route and the “Start” button to start navigation. When you pull the bottom bar up, you’ll see options to save the route to favorites, preview the route, share the route, and export the route in GPX format, as well as a list of turns.
