This feature allows you to monitor the maximum speed limit signs using the device’s camera.
The application informs about speed limits, which show the speed limit marked in the map data and are displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. If the roads change faster than the maps are updated, if there is a temporary speed limit in the area due to road work, or if you want the app to take into account dynamic speed limits, the sign recognition function solves all this.
Traffic Sign Recognition is your second pair of eyes, and it monitors what’s actually happening in front of the vehicle, updating speed limits.
How to activate this feature:
1. Go to Quick Menu
2. Select Traffic Sign Recognition.
3. Follow the instructions to attach the phone to the windshield.
4. Align your phone with the auxiliary line on the screen. (Small deviations are fine, but the ideal is to mount the phone as flat as possible so that the recognition works properly)
