Maps in Sygic GPS Navi contain thousands of Places of Interest (POIs), such as restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions, and many more.

There are two ways to find these points of interest:

  1. Search by place name
  2. Searching for nearby places based on a specific category

Search by place name

You can search for places in the same way you would search for an address. Just enter the address/name in the search bar, view the search engine results, and select the option you are looking for. For more details, see Search by address.

Search for nearby places based on a specific category

You can search for nearby places through the search bar, tap on the three dots to open a list of all available categories, and select a category and the app will display the nearest places of this type. In the bottom bar, you can browse the list of names with your current distance from these points. You can choose a specific point by clicking on a point on the map or by selecting from the list.

After selecting a specific location, you will see detailed information about the location in the bottom bar. You can then select Show routes, or go back to the POI overview by clicking on the blue arrow in the search bar.

You can also browse places (points of interest) anywhere in your chosen area, not just in your current area. Click anywhere on the map and swipe up to open the destination details. Then click on Explore nearby places.
