Your device may lose GPS signal in the following situations:
- The device is inside a building, in a tunnel, or in a place where the signal from GPS satellites is blocked by buildings, trees, electrical cables or other objects.
- Device or product settings may be misconfigured
- Location settings are turned off on your device
- Assistive location data from mobile networks is overloaded
Make sure that you have Location Services turned on in your device settings – Settings > Location > On and that you are in an area where your device will not have trouble communicating with GPS satellites.
To resolve this issue, please perform the following steps:
- Restart your device and go to your phone’s Settings > Sygic > App > Force Quit* and erase data.
- Launch Sygic and go to Settings, scroll to the very bottom and select “Reset to Original Settings”.
- If this did not help, please install the GPS Status & Toolbox application.
- Launch it and reset the A-GPS data via Tools.
- If the problem persists and your device with location services does not have a problem, we recommend that you completely reinstall the Sygic app.
- If your device has a problem locating or losing the GPS signal, please contact the seller or manufacturer of the device.
