SmartCam is a function that combines functions that use the device’s camera (Sign Recognition, Dashcam, Real View Navigation).
Within the Sygic App Menu → Settings → Smartcam, you can set:
- Sign recognition – on/off
- Dashcam – on/off
- RealView Navigation – On/Off
- Auto Start – automatically triggers active SmartCam functions when you are driving
- Auto Stop – Automatically stops SmartCam functions at the end of a ride
Here you can also set up several options for the Dashcam:
- Video Quality – select the recording quality/resolution that will affect the storage size of the video file
- Video Length – set the video length between 2, 5, 10 or 15 minutes
- Automatically save in the event of a collision – automatic video saving function in the event of a car accident, which is evaluated based on the sensors of the phone/tablet
- Audio Recording – Record audio along with video
- Video Overlay – display date, time, speed and street during recording
