Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps app is supported on all Android or iOS smartphones and tablets that meet the following requirements:
• Android version 8.0, iOS 15 or later to use Sygic app version 25.
• 300 MB of free memory to install the base app + additional storage for maps.
• Have Google Play Store and Google services, or the Apple App Store.
• Built-in GPS module (or an externally connected GPS receiver that is paired/recognized by the device and sends location data to the operating system).
• Internet connection – required to download the app from the Google Play Store/Apple App Store and to download maps. Internet connection is not required for the app to navigate you.
Please note that android car radios use a heavily modified version of Android to work on that specific kind of hardware. The app may work on this device and you can install and use the app, but you use the app on these devices at your own risk – our support staff can provide only very limited support.
The following hardware specifications are recommended for smooth operation of the application:
- Processor – 4-core
- RAM – 4GB and more
- Free storage space – 1GB or more
On devices that do not meet the recommended hardware specifications, it is not recommended to use other apps in the background. To ensure the best possible performance, we recommend closing all other applications. Furthermore, make sure you have updated to the latest version of the OS provided by your device manufacturer.
We also recommend that you try the app in advance – installation is free and after the first installation you get a 7-day trial period during which you can try out the Premium features. You can download the app directly from Google Play here, or from the Apple App Store here.

• Logging in to the app with your account
• Download maps and voices
• Access to the Sygic Store
• Traffic information
• Information about mobile speed cameras
• Fuel prices
• Back up your data with Dropbox
