You can conveniently work with the app through the car controls while the app runs on your smartphone, you will see it on the display and the sound will be played through the car’s speakers.
To use Sygic GPS navigation via Android auto, your device must meet the following requirements:
- availability of Google Play Services
- Android OS 8 or above
- (for devices that have OS versions older than Android 10) Android Auto Launcher app is required
You can install and launch the Android Auto Launcher app from the Google Play Store just like any other app by following the steps below:
- Open this link on your phone.
- Install the Android Auto app on your phone.
- Launch the app.
- The app will require you to grant specific permissions during this process. Grant all the permissions that this app requires.
If the Google Play Store doesn’t offer you access to this app, or if it says it’s not supported in your country, you will not be able to use this feature.
How to easily check if your phone and car are compatible with Android Auto:
- Unlock your phone and plug it into the USB port in your car.
- On your car’s screen, tap “Apps”.
- Select Sygic from the list of apps.
- If you see a message on the display indicating that you are connected to Android Auto, you can buy this license without worry.
