In this article, you will learn how to use the Auto-scan feature when counting with the SwiftCount app.

Why you will need this:

If you are using barcodes and want a quick way to count by scanning each and every products in front of you, once.

What you will need:

A count created in SwiftCount. Click here to learn how to create/schedule a count
The SwiftCount app installed (download on the App Store or Google Play store).

Step 1: Go to Auto-scan

Click the “Scan” icon on the top of the list of products of the count.

Step 2: Select the location of the product

Click the “Location” icon on the top right of the screen

Select the location of the product

Step 3: Scan the product

Scan each product once. One scan = +1 unit.
Example: If you have 7 of the same article, scan 7 times the barcode.

If you need to remove from what you have counted: Tap the progress bar and tap the “negative sign”

The quantity is saved automatically. You can continue on scanning another product.
