Uploading quantity from Excel via Product Location file

In this article, you will learn how to import product quantities via Excel.

*Why you will need this: *

To add quantities to products in specific locations

Step 1 Click on Locations on the left menu

Step 2 From the midle of the page under Products select the option to download the template called Product-Locations

Step 3 Open the template and enter the information to add inventory
Fields in the excel are:
Required:
Part Number, WH Code (Enter SC if no warehouses), Location Code (Enter SC if no locations), Qty,
Optional
Is Primary (enter 1 if you want this location to be primary 0 if not.) If not sure enter 0
Serial Lot Number only needed if serialized or lotted item (ignore otherwise)
Reorder Point and Reorder Point max are optional and represent the Min Max for this item in this location
Expiry date only needed if item is lot numbers
SwiftIDs are tags and also optional.
h4. Step 4 Re-upload the template

Step 4 Re-upload your file by clicking on the upload tab and selecting to upload

Navigate to the file that where your information is populated and select it then click on Upload

After uploading a pre-validation screen will give you a recap. Any passed or warnings are OK and they will still be uploaded.
Failed will now
Clicking on the proper header will describe the reason for the warnings of failure

Click on Confirm and Go

Notes:

• Only 1000 items at a time can be uploaded. If more than 1000 please upload multiple Excels
• This will add (or remove if negative quantities) the quantities included on the Excel file (not replace)
• This process can also be used with 0 Quantities to assign locations (Primary or not) and Min Max to products
