Unassign products from a location

In this article, you will learn how to unassign a product from its location(s).

Why you will need this:

Keep up to date your products and where they can be found / transferred to.

Doing this will reduce possible staff errors by limiting the locations they can move/transfer products to.

What you will need:

Step 1 : Go to the Locations module

Click “Locations” Module on the left banner

Step 2 : Select the products

Scroll down to the products list and select the products on the list you want to unassign the location from.
Click “Unassign location”

Step 3 : Select the location

Select the location you want these products to be unassigned from.
Click “Unassign locations”

In order to unassign products from a location, these products can not have on-hand quantities in the selected locations and the location can not be the primary location for these products.
