Set up / change outbound settings

In this article, you will learn how to set up / change sales settings.

Why you will need this:

In this section you will define the permissions regarding sales orders shipment. It is important to set it up especially if you want to pre-assign product quantities to a sales order. It would be necessary if a customer ask to receive part of the shipment in advance or if you want your employee to ship only a part of the quantities ordered for other reasons.

What you will need:

Step 1: Go to the Sales section

Click on the “settings” module

Click on “Sales” section

Step 2: Set up sales settings

Select the settings you want to set up
“Enable to ship functionality on mobile” means that we are enabling the mobile to only see the quantity the employee is supposed to ship.
“Enforce shipping to be within to ship quantity” means that you enforce the mobile to ship the exact or less quantity of product asked. You can’t overwrite it or ship more.
“Allocate serial/lot number” means you allow your employee to allocate serial and lot numbers to the sales order.

Click “Save”
