Receive a purchase order

In this article, you will learn how to receive a purchase order.

Why you will need this:

To import the new quantities to SwiftCount and connected applications, you will have to receive the purchase order.
What you will need:

Assign users to a purchase order. Click here to learn how to assign users to a purchase order
The SwiftCount app installed (Download on the App Store or Google Play store)
To receive a purchase order, you have 2 options:

Step 1: Open the inboud that you are receiving (Purchase order) after scanning or entering the number

Option #1: Scanning the barcodes

If your products have barcodes. This is the faster way to receive a PO.

Scan the number in the search box above

This will open the detail screen where you can confirm the following information:
Location where you will receive the items
Quantity
Unit of Measure.

When done click on the blue Checkbox at the bottom to move to the next item

Option #2: Selecting the items from the list

Your products don’t have barcodes. You can select them from the products list.
Simply tap on the items from the list to open and enter similar information as needed

Note:
If your items are serialized or lot numbered you must also enter the serial and lot number
