Process a production order

In this article, you will learn how to process a production order.

Why you will need this:

In order to transform raw material into a finished product, you will need to “process” the production order. It means move raw material out and move the finished products in.

What you will need:

Import a production order.
Edit a production order.

Step 1: Go to the « Production » section

Select the “Settings” module on the left banner.
Click the “Production” icon

Step 2: Select the production order you want to process

Locate the production order you want to process
Click the “Production” icon

Step 3: Process the production order

Before processing the production order, make sure that your products with lot/serial numbers have already been transferred to the production location.

These tabs show you the status of each product
Full: means that there is the right quantity of products, in the production location to run the production
Partial: means that some product quantities in the production location are there but not enough to run the production
Over: means there is more quantities than I need to run the production in that location
None: means that there is none of these products in the production location
Not in: shows other products that are in the location but that I don’t need to run the production

Before processing the production order, make sure your products with lot/serial number are in the tab “Full”. If not, do a transfer.

Enter the lot number for the finished product you are creating before processing.

Click “Process”

Validate the quantity of products with serial or lot number you need or change it
Click “Process”

Select the pick location for the product listed in the tab “Partial” or “None”
Click “Process”

Click “Yes” to confirm the process

Step 3: Select the location for the finished products

You can select the new location for the finished products and assign quantities to this location
Click “Save” if you want to change location or “Cancel” if you don’t want to change location
