Manage assigned price lists from the Product Details screen

In this article, you will learn how to manage the assigned price lists to a product under its product details screen.

*Why you will need this: *

You might want to check what price lists have been assigned to a specific product and what prices have been given to it under each price list.
You might need to make quick changes in the pricing under a specific price list or to add the product to a specific price list.
You might want to remove the product from a price list.
All of the above can be done directly from the product details screen, with no need to go and load the price list screen.

Step 1: Load the price list screen under product details

From the products screen select the product that you want to load by clicking on “View”.
The product details screen loads for the specific product.
Besides “Price per Each” you will see the Price List icon. Click on it to load the “Price List” pop up screen:

Once you click on the price list icon, the “Price List” pop up loads:

A- Manage price listing assignments. Clicking on this button reveals the price list management section:

From here, you can add the product to another price list. Simply, click on the drop down list, select a price list and specify a price for the product under that price list. Click on “Create” to complete the assignment.

If you select a price list where the product is already assigned to, the new price given to the product will replace the old assignment to that price list.
You can also quickly add a new price list from this section. Simply click on the + button besides the price list drop down. Add a description to the new price list and click on “ADD”. The new price list is created. Once created you can proceed right away to add a price to the product under the newly created price list and click on “Create” to assign the product to that new price list at that price.

From here, you can only assign products to a price list in the master UOM (EA). To add a product to a price list under a different UOM, proceed to do so from the “Price List” screen.

B- List headers and filtering. It allows you to filter by specific price lists.

C- Price lists assignment details. All the price lists assigned to this product will be listed here.

D- Action buttons. You can edit the price given to a product on a specific price list by clicking on the pencil button. You can remove the product from a specific price list by clicking on the trash can button.
