Do a mass transfer (from a location to another)

In this article, you will learn how to do a mass transfer to another location.

Why you will need this:

If you have several locations, you might need to bulk transfer products from a location to another. For example : from the backroom to the floor, or from warehouse/store #1 to warehouse/store #2.

With the mass transfer, you will transfer all the products from one location to another one.

What you will need:

Assign products to a location. Click here to learn how to assign products to a location

Step 1: Select the location you want to transfer all the products from

Go to the “Locations”
Locate the location you want to transfer all the products from
Click on the “Mass Transfer” icon button (second from left)

Step 2: Select the location you want to transfer the products to

Select the warehouse/store and the destination location
Add a description to identify the transfer – a reason why you are doing this transfer (optional)
If you want to plan the transfer for later, click “Pending transfer”
Additional Options:

Click the “Tag button” to add a tag to your product (tag = identifier).

To create the transfer now, click “Create”

Click “Yes”

Step 3: Select the products and quantities you want to transfer

If you want to transfer all the products and quantities, click “Transfer all products”
If you want to select specific products, use “Edit Qty”, “+” and “-” icon to enter the quantity you want to transfer
By clicking on the “Trash” icon, you will erase the product quantities you had selected.
