In this article, you will learn how to change a user’s status to inactive (delete user).
Why you will need this:
User status will help you manage your users. In SwiftCount you can’t delete users because of their history attached to managing inventory. Changing user status to “inactive” means that this user will no longer have access to SwiftCount. Putting a user as “inactive” will allow you to create a new user.
What you will need:
Step 1: User settings
Click on the “Settings” module on the left banner, last module.
Step 2: Change user status
Select the user you want to change status for
Click “Active” or “Inactive”

Select the new status
An active status means that the user has access to SwiftCount.
An Inactive status means that the user doesn’t have access to SwiftCount anymore. The user account is not deleted” per say as you will keep all the historical dat about this user.
Manage your users’ status is important for security purposes and if you want to add new users.
For example: your plan only allows you to create 3 users. If one of your employee is not working for you anymore, don’t forget to “deactivate” the account of that user so that you can create a new one.
Click “Save”
