Delete a category

In this article, you will learn how to delete a category.

Why you will need this:

A category allow you to group all the products with the same nature.

You may want to delete a category because it doesn’t apply anymore.

What you will need:

Create/Import categories. Click here to learn how to create/import categories

Step 1: Go to the “categories” section

Click on the “Settings” module on the left banner, last module.
Click “Categories” button

Step 2: Delete the category

Find the category you want to delete
Click “View”

Click the “Delete” button
Click “Yes” if you want to delete this category or “No” if you don’t

If you have products assign to the category, they won’t be assigned to any category after the deletion.

Additional Options:

Click the “Tag” button to add a tag to your category (a Tag is a way to group your category with an identifier).
