Create/Import categories using an excel file

Why you will need this:

Group products into categories so that they can be found, counted or analyzed easily.
You want to import categories in “batches” or have several categories to import to your SwiftCount account.

What you will need:

Add/Import products.

Step 1: Download the spreadsheet template

Click the “Settings” module on the left banner.
Click “Categories”
Click the “cloud” icon (arrow down) to download the sample spreadsheet.

Select “Download empty template” if you don’t have any categories created yet or “with all categories” if you already have some categories created.
Click “Download”

You will be downloading an excel template with the structure SwiftCount needs to add categories. You will need to fill out the template with the products you want to upload to your SwiftCount account.

Step 2: Fill out the template

Add all your categories to the template
Categories: Categories name.

Save this excel file and go back to SwiftCount

Step 3: Upload the template

In categories, click the on “cloud” icon (arrow up) to upload the template

Select your excel template
Click “Upload”
If you wish to cancel the process, Click “Close”

If everything is good, Click “Confirm and Go”
If you wish to cancel the process, Click “Close”

If you have chosen “Download template with all categories”, you can have some products in the failed list. Don’t worry, it’s only because they are already created in your Swiftcount account.

Now, click “Upload more” if you have more products to upload
Click “Close” if you are finished uploading products
