In this article, you will learn how to create a sales order in SwiftCount.

Why you will need this:

SwiftCount allows you to create sales orders so that your team can assure the shipping of merchandise from the app.

What you will need:

Create a new customer. Click here to learn how to create a new customer

Step 1: Go to Outbound section

To create a new sales order, you have two (2) different options.

Option #1: Do it from the “Settings” module.

Click on the “Settings” module on the left banner, last module.
Go to the “Customers” section

Option #2: Do it from the “Sales” module.

Click on the “Sales” module on the left banner, the sixth module.
Click “+ Create New Sale”

Step 2: Fill out the sales order information

Select the customer
Choose the date of the sale.
Choose the required date: the date you need this order sent to your customer
Select the store/warehouse you will send the merchandise from
Click “Continue”

Additional Options:

Click the “Tag” button to add a tag to your Order (tag = temporary identifier)

Step 3: Define the products and quantities

Locate the products you want to send
Enter the quantity you want to send. You can use the “+” & “-” sign or the “pen” sign.
If you select the “pen” sign, just enter the quantity you want to ship and click “Save & Next” if you want to enter more product quantities or click “Save & Close” if you are done.
If you want to clear the quantity, click “Skip”. If you want to cancel adding quantities, click “Close”.

You can delete the quantity entered, choosing the “Trash” sign.

Click “Continue”

Additional Options:

Click the “Tag” button to add a tag to your Order (tag = temporary identifier)

Your sales order has been successfully created.

Step 4: Send the sales order to your customer

Click “Send” to send your sales order via email

Enter the email address of your customer
Click “Send”

Step 5: Print your sales order
Click “Print” to print your sales order
