Change the primary location of a product

In this article, you will learn how to update the primary location of a product.

Why you will need this:

The primary location is the main location you want this product to be assigned to. The primary location will always show-up first, in blue in the app when moving, counting or transferring a product. Changing the primary location is necessary to unassign a product to a location for example.

Step 1: Select the product you want to change the primary location for

Click on the “Products” module on the left banner, second module.
Locate the product you want to change the primary location for
Click on the “on-hand quantity” of that product

Locate the primary location you want to assign to this product
Click on the “check mark” in the primary column to activate the new primary location
