Assigning sales wave picks to mobile devices

In this article you will learn how to send wave picks to mobile devices so they can be picked and shipped.

Why you will need this:

Before a wave pick can be shipped, it needs to be sent to the mobile device.

Assigning mobile users to a sales wave pick :

A sales wave pick operates in the same manner a regular sales does. This means, assigning users to a wave pick can be done in three different ways:

Push the wave pick to specific users.
Scan a wave pick on the mobile device.
Select a wave pick from the ones available on the mobile device.

1- Push the wave pick to specific users.

Load the specific sales wave pick details. For help on how to do that, see article on managing sales wave picks.

From the sales wave pick details screen, click on SHIP ON MOBILE – button.

The Mobile User Selection – Screen loads:

1- Available user list: All the mobile users that are available to ship the wave pick.

2- Assign user to the wave pick: Click on the arrow next to the specific user to assign it to the sales wave pick. As soon as you do, the user name will move to the list on the right (Users Selected).

3- Users Selected list: All the mobile users that are going to ship the wave pick.

4- Un-assign user from the wave pick. Click on the arrow next to the user name to un assign it from the wave pick. As soon as you do, the user name will move to the list on the left (Available Users).

5- Send button: When you click this button, the wave pick will be assigned to all the users selected. The users will be notified on their mobile devices.

You can always add more users to the wave pick by clicking on the Ship on Mobile – button.

The user owner of your company will always be assigned to a wave pick. That is the reason why it is pre-assigned to the Users Selected- list.

2- Scan a wave pick on the mobile device.

You can scan sales wave pick numbers on your mobile device to bring the wave pick to your device. You can scan by using one of the following methods:

Built in camera.
Bluetooth scanner paired to your mobile device.
HoneyWell sled.
Built in camera

The built in camera scanner loads on the screen. Proceed to scan the wave pick barcode. You can get this barcode by loading it on the screen or by printing the sales wave pick report. Both accessible from the Wave Pick Details – screen:
the wave pick will be loaded and it will be ready to be picked on the device.
Bluetooth scanner paired to your mobile device

On your mobile device from the main HUB go to Outbound.
Tap on the wave pick icon to load the main wave pick screen: Top right.
Tap on the search box to place the cursor there:
Using your bluetooth scanner, proceed to scan the wave pick barcode. You can get this barcode by loading it on the screen or by printing the sales wave pick report. Both accessible from the Wave Pick Details – screen:
The wave pick will be loaded and it will be ready to be picked on the device.
You can also type in the wave pick number on the search box and tapping return/enter. This will have the same effect as if you had scanned the wave pick number with a bluetooth scanner.

On your mobile device from the main HUB go to Sales.
Tap on the wave pick icon to load the main wave pick screen:
Activate your HoneyWell to proceed to scan the wave pick barcode. You can get this barcode by loading it on the screen or by printing the sales wave pick report. Both accessible from the Wave Pick Details – screen:
The wave pick will be loaded and it will be ready to be picked on the device.
3- Select a wave pick from the ones available on the mobile device.

You can always review what sales wave pick are available for picking and request them directly from your mobile device without having to scan them. To do this:

On your mobile device from the main HUB go to Sales.
Tap on the wave pick icon to load the main wave pick screen:
From the Wave Pick screen, tap on the + button:
The Assign Sale Wave Pick – screen loads:
Locate the sales wave pick that you want to load on your mobile device and tap on the + button besides it:
Confirm that you would like to import that sales wave pick to your mobile device:
The screen closes and the wave pick imported loads:
You are now ready to start picking the products in the wave.
