In this article, you will learn how to add/import locations manually to your SwiftCount account.

Why you will need this:

Locations are the second layers to identify where your products are. (e.g. “Shelf ##”, “Front desk”, “Backroom”, “Bin ##”, etc.)

You only have 1 or very few locations to add to your SwiftCount account.

What you will need:

A SwiftCount account. Click here to learn how to create a SwiftCount account

Step 1: Add a location

Click the “Locations” module on the left banner, 3rd module.
Click “New Location”


Step 2: Fill out your location details
Specify the Code: your internal identifier for the location.
Specify the Description: location description
Select the Warehouse: the store where this new location is part of
If you are in a “Swift” or “Marketplace” plan: “SC Default Warehouse” will appear by default.

If you want to add more stores to your account, you can do it> See price list for details.

Click “Create and Close” if you have added all your locations or “Create and New” if you want to continue adding locations

Additional Options:

Click the “Tag” button to add a tag to your location (a Tag is a way to group your locations with an identifier).
