Add/Create a product during a count

In this article, you will learn how to add/create a product during a count.

Why you will need this:

You may want to count a product currently not in your count list.

What you will need:

The SwiftCount App installed (download on the App Store or Google Play store)
Count with the SwiftCount app.
Does the product already exist?

option #1: yes! Just add it to the count list

The product already exist but is not in the list of products you have to count.

Tap the “+” sign

Choose the product you would like to add to the count & click “+” button

Option #2: no! You have to create it

The product doesn’t exist yet in the system. You have to create it so that you can count it.

Tap the “+” sign

Select “New Product” button

Fill out the product details
Add a unit of measure (UOM)

The default UOM is always “each”. You have to add UOM only if you want to select another UOM than “each”.

Click “Create” if you want to create it or “Clear” if you want to cancel it.
