Significant updates to Queensland’s Blue Card legislation took effect from 20 September 2025. One of these updates is a requirement for individuals who are exempt from holding a Blue Card to declare that they are not a restricted person under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
From 17 December 2025, all SLSQ members who are 18 years or older and are not required to hold a Blue Card must complete the SLSQ Restricted Employment and Restricted Person Declaration via the JotForm linked below.
