Surfguard administrators can create a Family Group by selecting Menu – Members > Family Groups > Create Family Group.
People can be added as a PRIMARY or a Standard member of the Family Group.
Type in the name of the Family Group ie: Smith Family.
A Primary Contact must be added First, these are the members who can manage the other members in the family group (over the age of 18 yrs)
To find and add the first Primary member type in the members name or ID and click on the ‘get member’ button.
Note: You may need to tick the box Include Non-Financial Members.
Once the member has been found click on their name to highlight them and move them across to the ‘selected members’ box.
If you wish to have more than one primary group member, search for the next member and add them to the ‘selected members’ box.
To add standard members to the family group, scroll down the screen and use the search filters in this ‘standard members’ section to find your member and add them to the ‘selected members box’
Once you have found all members from the Available Members section and moved them across to Selected Members, scroll down and click Create Family Group
The Primary member will receive an email once the group has been approved in SurfGuard.
