Locked Out Users

  • If a User logs in incorrectly 5 times in one day their account will be locked.
  • If a user locks their account due to 5 incorrect login attempts in one day, but have logged into Surfguard in the last 3 months, they will be able to reactivate their Surfguard User account via email/SMS

Expiring User Accounts
Users who have NOT logged in to Surfguard in the last 120 days (All Staes Except VIC) and 270 days (VIC) will be sent an email 15 days prior to the expiry date informing the user they need to log in to Surfguard to keep the account active. If the user does not log in to Surfguard prior to the expiry date their account will be set to Inactive.

Expired User Accounts
If a Surfguard User account has expired and the User still requiress access they will need to fill out a new Form 49 to be completed, signed off by an authorising officer and submitted to the IT Helpdesk via a Support Ticket
