A user account is not necessary to view and download public datasets on the Skeena Salmon Data Centre. However, if you are managing or uploading datasets on behalf of an organization, need access to view private datasets, or would like access to features such as following datasets you will need to set up a free account.
To create a user account, click on the “Register” link at the top right of the main page.
Complete the registration process by providing the following information:

Full name – the name to be displayed on your user profile
E-mail address – this will not be visible to other users
Password – enter the same password in both boxes
Select Create Account to finalize the account registration. You will receive an email with a link to activate the account. Click on the link in the email, and this will activate the account. You should now be able to to log into the Skeena Salmon Data Centre using your new credentials by clicking on the Log in text on the top right of the main page.
If you need access to an organization as an editor or viewer, please contact us or the organization administrator with your new username to have your account added to the organization.
If you have forgotten your password or are having difficulty logging into your account, email firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our administrators will reset your password.
