SIVI AFS contains a lot of attributes. A description of each attribute is available in AFD 2.0 Online. But it is not always clear, which attribute to use in which situation. This paragraph give some guidelines for the use of deductibles in SIVI AFS.
How to use deductibleAmount?
SIVI AFS allows a deductible amount to be configured either at the policy level or at the coverage level. However, it is not possible to use both attributes simultaneously. When configuring the deductible amount at the policy level (deductibleAmount under the entity policy (AFD 2.0) or PP_ERB (AFD 1.0)), this amount applies to all coverages within the policy. For example, if a deductible of 1.000 is set at the policy level, this deductible applies to all coverages under the policy. Therefore, if there are three coverages under the policy, the deductible will amount to 1.000 for each coverage. It is also possible to configure the deductible at the coverage level, but in that case, it cannot be set at the policy level.
