Clicking the Communication Path menu item in the Server section of the left menu will display a list of all communication paths along with status information.

Each line of the communication path table displays the following information.

  • Priority - Communication path priority. The priority value determines the order in which the communication paths are used for communication between the servers. Valid communication path priority values range from 1 to 99, with priority value 1 indicating highest priority and priority value 99 indicating lowest priority.
  • Type - Communication path type. The LKWMC only supports creation of TCP (TCP/IP) communication paths.
  • Status - Current state of the communication path. The possible values are:
    • ALIVE
The communication path is functioning normally.
    • DEAD
The communication path is in a disconnected state. LifeKeeper heartbeats are not being sent or received over this communication path within the specified interval.
    • UNKNOWN
The state of the communication path could not be determined.
