• ID - A character string associated with a resource instance, unique among all instances of the resource type, that identifies some internal characteristics of the resource instance to the application software associated with it.
  • Status - Current state of the resource instance. Refer to Viewing Resource and Server Status for descriptions of each possible resource state.
  • Reason - If present, describes the reason that the resource is in its current state. In other words, this is the reason for its most recent state change. For example, a resource on node2 may be in the OSU state because the corresponding equivalent shared resource on machine node1 is in ISP or ISU state. Shared resources may only be active on one of the clustered systems at a time.
  • Application Type - Internal LifeKeeper resource application type identifier.
  • Resource Type - Internal LifeKeeper resource type identifier.
  • Switchback Type - The setting that governs the recovery behavior of the server where the resource was in service when it failed. If the setting is intelligent, the server acts as a possible backup for the given resource. If the setting is automatic, the server actively attempts to re-acquire the resource, providing the following conditions are met:
    • The resource hierarchy must have been in service on the server when it left the cluster.
    • If it is in service at all, then the resource must currently be in service on a server with a lower priority.
