The LKWMC may be accessed from a client PC by navigating to the following address in a web browser:

https://<GUI Server Host IP Address or Hostname>:5110/lkgui/#/

When using the default self-signed SSL certificates included with LifeKeeper, the browser may display a security warning stating that the identity of the remote server could not be verified. This warning can be avoided by generating and installing custom SSL certificates signed by a trusted certificate authority, as described in Using Custom SSL Certificates. If the server’s identity is trusted, then the security warning in the browser may be bypassed in order to access the LKWMC sign-in page.

If the client PC is not able to connect directly to the GUI server host (e.g., if the host system running the GUI server is located in a private subnet in a cloud environment), then a different method, such as a VPN or SSH port forwarding, must be used to connect to the GUI server.
