Siemplify platform uses a certificate for security tightening issues. The certificate is provided by the customer prior to Installation.
It is used in four scenarios:
- to provide a secure connection (SSL) between Siemplify Platform to the Server and internal connection between Siemplify services
- to encrypt all sensitive Integration data in the Database, e.g. username, password etc
- to provide a secure connection at the application level between Siemplify Server and the Remote Agent
- to encrypt sensitive data of Connectors configuration files, e.g. username, password, etc
