Adding a Cancellation policy

  1. Click the link
    1. A blank Cancellation Policy is shown in the right screen (title of the page = New Cancellation Policy)
  2. Enter the desired Code
    1. the red ‘required’ indicator is removed
  3. Enter the desired Name
    1. the red ‘required’ indicator is removed
  4. If desired, add the description
  5. If desired, check the box to make the new Cancellation policy the default
  6. Optional: add cancellation window(s) by clicking the button (for details see Cancellation windows)
  7. Click ‘Save’
    1. The changes are saved
    2. The PMS shows a green bar on top, indicating saving was successful
    3. The Cancellation policy is closed

Editing a Cancellation policy

  1. In the list, click the Cancellation policy that needs editing
    1. The details are shown in the right part of the screen (title of the page = the code of the cancellation policy)
  2. If needed, change the name
  3. If needed, change the description
  4. If needed, check/uncheck the box for Default policy (checked = Policy is default / unchecked+ Policy is not default)
  5. If needed, change the details for the cancellation window(s) (for details see Cancellation windows)
  6. If needed, add cancellation window(s) by clicking the button (for details see Cancellation windows)
  7. Click ‘save’
    1. The changes are saved
    2. The PMS shows a green bar on top, indicating saving was successful
    3. The Cancellation policy is closed

Deactivating a Cancellation Policy

  1. In the list, click the Cancellation policy that needs to be deactivated
    1. The details are shown in the right part of the screen (title of the page = the code of the cancellation policy)
  2. On the bottom click ‘Deactivate’
    1. The PMS shows a warning and asks for confirmation
  3. In the warning box, click ‘yes’
    1. The warning box is closed
    2. The PMS shows a green bar on top, indicating deactivation was successful
    3. The Cancellation Policy is closed and only visible in the list when ‘inactive’ is selected

Reactivating a Cancellation Policy

  1. In the list, select ‘inactive’
    1. All deactivated Cancellation policies are displayed
  2. Click the Cancellation policy that need to be activated
    1. The details are shown in the right part of the screen (title of the page = the code of the cancellation policy)
  3. On the bottom click ‘Activate’
    1. The PMS shows a warning and asks for confirmation
  4. In the warning box, click ‘yes’
    1. The warning box is closed
    2. The PMS shows a green bar on top, indicating deactivation was successful
    3. The Cancellation Policy is closed and only visible in the list when ‘active’ is selected
