The Top Bar has two main functions:

  1. Switch the Main calendar from Dayview to Calendar view (and vice versa)
  2. Set the desired date (range)

Switching Dayview – Calendar View

The Main Calendar can be displayed for 1 day only, the ‘Dayview’, or any desired period, the ‘Calendar’. By clicking on either one of them the Main Calendar is adjusted to the desired view directly.
The details of the views will be addressed under ‘Calendar Page – Main calendar’, selection is done here and always available.

Date Selection

Next to the View Selection, the date range can be set:

Date Picker

  • TODAY
    • the selected date is directly set to today (it will be marked blue).
    • After clicking ‘Apply’ on the bottom of the date picker, the Calendar is adjusted accordingly and will display the date as selected – in the ‘Dayview’.
  • TOMORROW
    • the selected date is directly set to tomorrow (it will be marked blue).
    • After clicking ‘Apply’ on the bottom of the date picker, the Calendar is adjusted accordingly and will display the date as selected – in the ‘Dayview’.
  • WEEK
    • First a day in the week has to be selected (it will be marked blue). This can be random date, by just clicking the date or today (click today) or tomorrow (click tomorrow).
    • when a day is selected, clicking Week will auto select the week the selected day is in. The week is Monday – Sunday.
    • After clicking ‘Apply’ on the bottom of the date picker, the Calendar is adjusted accordingly and will display the date range as selected.
  • MONTH
    • Month opens a drop-down, with all months in the list.
    • Selecting a month will auto select all days of the specific month of the current Year (the selected days will be marked blue).
    • After clicking ‘Apply’ on the bottom of the date picker, the Calendar is adjusted accordingly and will display the date range as selected.
  • FREE DATE RANGE
    • Users can, besides the preset intervals, also select any random period.
    • Set the correct month and/or year on top of the date picker
    • Select the start date by clicking the date in the date calendar (it will be marked blue)
    • Drag the mouse over the calendar to the desired end date ((it will be marked blue and the days between start and end will light blue).
    • If the end date is a month later, use the arrow on top to proceed to the next month or later.
    • After clicking ‘Apply’ on the bottom of the date picker, the Calendar is adjusted accordingly and will display the date range as selected.

Arrows

When a Date (Range) is set, adjusting the week and/or day can be quickly done with the arrows.

  • To go bacjk a week, click the left arrow next to ‘week’
  • To proceed a week, click the right arrow next to ‘week’
  • To go back a day, click the left arrow next to ‘day’
  • To proceed a day, click the right arrow next to ‘day’
    • in all cases the Main Calender (both in Dayview and Calendar View) will be adjusted directly.
