Holding Brake Roller (HBR) Usage /
Using Motor Port
Connecting the HBR to a ConveyLinx-Ai Family Module Motor Port is the simplest and easiest way to implement its function. The ConveyLinx-Ai Family Module automatically detects the HBR and when the motor connected to the opposite Motor Port is running, the HBR is automatically energized to disengage and when the motor stops the HBR is automatically de-energized to provide failsafe holding brake functionality.
