The Ninox Search Engine is designed to search all fields of all tables in a Ninox database application. The size and complexity of an application data model has a material impact on the speed with the engine returns its results. In order to enable the search engine to operate at maximum efficiency, users have the option to remove tables as targets of the search engine thereby reducing the amount of content that must be searched in order to return results. This feature is particularly valuable for Lookup Tables that contain referential and categorization content but no transactional or master data records. By eliminating these tables as targets of the search engine, Ninox will not include them in the evaluation of and search for Find criteria.
