A Header is a layout element that adds a horizontal line and section title to a form view. Headers are displayed across the form view and are created by either dragging a Header element from the Add Layout Element section of the Table Management screen or they can be added using the Elements popup menu that appears to the left of a form when Ninox is in administrative mode. A data model of a table that includes two headers and the form view demonstrating those tabs is presented in the image below.
The header itself and the text string used to identify each header can be formatted by opening the element properties screen as displayed below.
COLOR – The color of the text used to name the header can be edited using the color picker in the Color field
BACKGROUND COLOR – The background that appears behind the header name text can be edited using the color picker in the Background Color field
FONT SIZE – The font size of the text used to name the header can be adjusted according to any of four options available in the Font Size combo box (displayed in the image below).
FONT STYLE – The text used to name the header can be displayed in any combination of regular, bold or italicized. The default font style is regular. To add bold and/or italicized characteristics to the regular font, you may select that appropriate option from this multiple choice switch.
BORDER STYLE – A header may have no border, borders around the top, bottom, left and right or some user-defined border format. Users have the option to define the border style, width and color using the two combo boxes and color picker displayed in the images below.
