DESCRIPTION

The asin() is the inverse trigonometric function of the sin() function with the returned value expressed in units equal to the radians of an angle

SYNTAX

  1. asin(number)
  2. asin(‘Number Field’)

WHERE

  • asin is the function keyword. This must be entered into the Ninox function editor in all lower-case characters
  • numeric value is a specified numeric value
  • ‘Number Field’ is the reference name of a Number Field in a table, the contents of which are to serve as the basis for the asin calculation.

EXAMPLE

  • asin (-1) = -1.570796326798
  • asin(0) = 0
  • asin(1) = 1.570796326798
