The Lederman Scholars Program is a highly selective college-within-a-college at North Central College which provides bright, motivated high school students with the opportunity to earn up to two years of college credit (the equivalent of an associate’s degree) while continuing to attend high school.

Admission to The Lederman Scholars Program is based on academic ability, personal maturity and the student’s demonstrated commitment to becoming an informed, involved, principled and productive citizen and leader. Normally, students should be enrolled in honors coursework and have a GPA of approximately 4.449. The minimum composite ACT score for admission is 30, SAT score for admission is 1390. Students with extraordinary ability who do not meet these criteria are not automatically refused admission. Students who are interested in participating in this reduced-rate tuition program should discuss opportunities with their assigned school counselor.
