The Family and Consumer Sciences Department (FACS) offers a wide-variety of courses to meet the needs of our students. In these courses, students have the opportunity to participate in authentic learning experiences to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for college and career success. Students are encouraged to plan ahead and make purposeful elective choices while considering future college and career goals and interests. Some upper level courses have prerequisites, are scheduled in a block, or are offered only in one semester. Review these details carefully when creating a high school course plan. All of the courses in this department fulfill the graduation requirement for Career and Technology Education.
