Improvements

Base Package

• An “Include subfolders” checkbox in the Batch Processor now allows for real-time processing to monitor subfolders of the watch folder for new images.
• Added Tooltips to Math Process interface elements.
• Batch Processor measurement preview is enabled by default.
  

Bug Fixes

Base Package

• Custom Measurement Manager now makes the ‘Accept’ button available on open when reassigning a custom measurement to a new layer.
• In Custom Image/Feature Measurement Manager, fixed the file descriptions in the Save to File and Load from File to match the type of custom measurement.
• Local Measurement reports now match the overlay displayed in the interface for measurements that require a mask.
• Fixed the Measurement Tool table display in the Session Processor and 3D Toolbox to prevent table cutoff when features are near the top and or right boundary of the image.
• Fixed the bug that would cause the recipe panel in the Image Processor to disappear when the recipe is being updated after a recipe edit.
• Preserve dynamic calibration between the Batch and Session Processors. If a crop or resize would change the saved reference image, after processing, the dynamic calibration will be removed and the calculated calibration saved into the modified reference image file.
• Fixed Preview/Unpreview toggle when Shift-clicking multiple items in a list or table.
• Fixed bug during hand off of Session from the Batch Processor to Session Processor when the Calibration preference is set to anything but micrometers.
• Improved error handling in the Session Processor when the session fails to load. The software will clear the session and should allow the user to resolve the issue or load the session manually without having to restart the Session Processor.
• Fixed incorrect value in the Batch Processor slice thickness readout after running a batch, when making a 3D reconstruction with calibration preference set to anything but micrometers. This did not impact the reconstructions, just the Batch Processor readout.
• Fixed bug in the Image Processor that would result in a broken Current Image reference after undoing part of the recipe which included a Resize or Crop image.
• Improved error handling, logging and display when using Report Generator.
• Fixed bug with Text Feature measurement that would break measurement printing to CSV, eliminated detected characters: “ and ,
• Session Processor will now disable the Save Session button when no layers are present. This prevents downstream errors when trying to re-add a Layer with auto-save turned on.
• Replace with Largest Circle will not eliminate single pixel features. Legacy recipes will maintain old behavior when executed but adding a new Replace with Largest Circle will have the new behavior.

Deep Learning Extension

• Deep Learning -> Call Output now respects the ‘interruptible’ setting and will open for user input during recipe processing.
• Improved Deep Learning error handling on model save and model load to ensure the model file is valid.
• Improved file size calculation for large U-Net models to ensure they are being saved using an appropriate protocol. This will resolve file too large warnings on large model save.
  

3D Extension

• Improved 3D Toolbox Power Render function by improving how MIPAR finds the ParaView application and how the reconstruction is passed into ParaView.
