Improvements

Base Package

  • Added Auto-Save option to the Batch Processor to disable saving after each processed image to maximize performance.
  • MIPAR will now automatically close the file browser/selector when a user drag and drops a file/folder from the window into the MIPAR interface.
  • In Report Generator settings in Color by Measure renamed the Include Measurements>Table to Include Measurements>Raw Data to improve clarity about which elements are being added to the report.
  • Added a check to the Session Processor to prevent accidentally adding non-image files to the sets of B/W and Reference images.
  • Added capability to use multiple channel high bit depth images to generate feature intensity measurements.

Bug Fixes

Base Package

  • Fixed bug with moving layers when a different layer has feature measurements with configured Batch Processor Report Generator settings.
  • Fixed bug with running a recipe that results in an empty measurement summary table in the Image Processor.
  • Improved error handling in the Session Processor when performing measurements on an image where a segmentation file becomes unopenable.
  • Fixed bug in Color by Measure reports that would prevent the report from printing if only some of the measurements included in the report have curve fit added.
  • Fixed bug with saving overlay image out of Color by Measure and preview/unpreview functionality.
  • Fixed bug with Select All / Select None buttons in Color By Measure under “Other Batch Output”.
  • Fixed bug when using Manage Layers to reorder layers, an existing Feature Measurement would measure the wrong layer in some cases.
  • Fixed bug that would result in an error when generating standard deviation from high bit depth measurement data.
  • Fixed bug in Color by Measure that was preventing external CSV loading.
  • Fixed logFile spam during recipe loading with recipes that used a deprecated IDSettings element.
  • Fixed error that would state that files were selected from 2 different folders when long file directories were selected.
  • Fixed bug in the Pattern Mapping recipe step when displaying the preview with the window element displayed.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent Color By Measure from opening on a binary image when the recipe has no added steps.
  • Session Processor no longer enables the save session button when the Deep Learning Advanced settings window is closed without accepting the changes.
  • Sum statistic now returns 0 instead of NaN when measuring an image with no features.
  • Fixed error in Local Threshold when displaying the preview with an empty companion.
  • Fixed bug that prevented proprietary file types with long metadata field names from loading.
  • Fixed bug with dragging and dropping folders in the Batch Processor on Mac.
  • Fixed Layer Map normalization in Apply Deep Learning and Call Deep Learning steps to use the model’s total number of classes instead of the maximum class index present in the output, ensuring consistent grayscale intensity scaling regardless of which classes appear in the result.
  • Pressing enter now selects active response in question dialogs on Mac.

Hotfixes

5.3.1.1

Base Package

  • When adding new layers, the default layer name will now reset to the lowest possible number instead of the number of layers.
  • When using default layer names in the recipe, removing a layer will not increment the other layers, for example: a recipe with layers: Layer 1 and Layer 2 will not rename Layer 2 to Layer 1 if Layer 1 is removed.
  • Undo will no longer break the Batch Processor report settings when undoing a removal of a recipe step that has feature measurements assigned to it.
  • Fixed bug in Session Processor that would put the BW images out of sync with the Reference images when more than 1 Layer is present during Reference image manipulation: up, down, to top, to bottom

Deep Learning Extension

  • Saving a model out of an edited Apply Deep Learning recipe step will now maintain the recipe training parameters including the preprocessing recipe.

Spotlight Extension

  • Spotlight now respects the GPU preference when multiple GPUs are present on a workstation.

5.3.1.2

Base Package

  • Fixed the pen size readout in Image Processor > Manual Edit, FFT Filter; Session Processor>Edit Tools; and 3D Toolbox>Manual Edit, FFT Filter to accept and apply values higher than the maximum of the slider.

Spotlight Extension

  • Fixed a critical GPU memory optimization error that would result in errors while editing a Spotlight recipe step.
